A monthly cabaret of musical theatre.
The West End is in a pretty poor state. The proposed Westminster Council parking charges are threatening to keep the minority that can afford to drive away from the droll West End shows they love (Mama Mia, We Will Rock you, Jersey Boys; we’re talking about you). Let’s all go to Vauxhall on a bus!
Myra DuBois trawls through the bowels of Musical Theatre to bring you a low-brow evening of cheap laughs and naff show-tunes. She used to be in amateur dramatics, so she knows what she’s talking about.
Joining Myra on the night are the folk from Radio Jiblets who’ll be throwing back the wine, reviewing Myra’s performance LIVE and INFRONT of her - and providing us with a post-show-podcast of our very own to take home.
The line up will see a selection of Cabaret performers addressing the subject of ’Musical Theatre’ alongside the occasional stage school graduate displaying their carefully honed craft. It’s a West End Show in a South London Pub, and why not?
