THE RVT - Winner of BEST CABARET VENUE 2012 by The London Cabaret Awards!

The RVT was crowned Best London Cabaret Venue 2012 by the London Cabaret Awards in February, we are very proud to have received this award especially as we were up against some formidable competition. A big thank you to all the RVT team who have made this possible and to our fabulous customers, new and old.

Our Hot August Fringe returns for its fourth year bringing another 25 nights of brilliant entertainment from Monday 30 July through to Friday 31 August. BARELESQUE II. Bigger, Better, Hotter. A veritable carnal carnival of culinary delights. Hosted by MAT FRASER – Transatlantic cabaret maestro who will be adding more than a pinch of his own brand of spice.  Our  menu of performers will have you wanting to lick more than your lips… they include the delicious ALISON BRUMFITT; performance poet, badass burlesque girl HONEY SCHNAPPS and our very own SPICE BOYS -  the amazing cheesecake beefcake cupcake boylesqueer troupe. BARELESQUE is a body positive, kinky, hot and sexy night for a seriously good charity. Tantalise your taste buds and feast your eyes, it doesn’t get hotter than this! 
 
You thought it couldn’t get better than BARELESQUE I, which has already been nominated for Best Event in the Erotic Awards, but we have pulled together a winning recipe of performers and are confident that we will not only tickle but explode your taste buds.

The main course of the evening will be our sexy Auction – gorgeous Sugar and Spice models will tease you with a smorgasbord of truly scrumptious experiences and lingerie, from some of the hottest designers, so get ready to part with some cash to get your hands on our tasty take-outs
 
And for dessert we have dancing, drinking and indulgence until 2am
 
Proceeds from the tickets and auction will go to the Albert Kennedy Trust. All performances, models, design, print and stagecraft have been donated for free, so EVERY PENNY raised goes straight to the charity.

About Albert Kennedy Trust
The Albert Kennedy Trust supports LGBT young people (16-25) who are homeless or living in a hostile environment. Many of our young people have been rejected by their parents or bullied at school just for being brave enough to come out and be themselves. We provide:
-       Safe and supportive homes with LGBT Carers through our Supported Lodgings Schemes
-       More informal supporting; helping young people build positive independent future through mentoring & befriending
-       Advice information and support by phone, face to face or email: to help young people achieve their own tenancy, employment, training or return to education
-       Opportunities for young people to become involved and valued through out Tomorrow’s Leaders training and volunteering programme
-       Training to ensure other services can provide gay friendly support through our Quality Assurance Tool
