Wotever World is a non-profit organisation that wants queer art, performance and theory to be out there in the world. Created by Ingo in 2003, having moved to London from Sweden, Wotever World was formed when Ingo launched the hugely successful “open doors, everybody welcome”, Club Wotever. As Creative Director and Producer for Wotever World, Ingo expanded the Wotever brand to include Bar Wotever, Wotever Brighton, Queer Complex and Klub Fukk, while continuing to make its presence felt in mainland Europe. Over the last five years, Wotever has created spaces where people of any age, ethnicity, gender and sexuality can meet, chat, dance and play. For performers and audience alike, Wotever gives people an opportunity to explore their sexuality, their gender, their desires.
The Wotever manifesto dictates that respect will be given to all sirs, madams and wotevers. Wotever, as a principle, abhors rules and boundaries. Respect and welcome to one and all. No matter what identity, or multiple identities a person may have or choose, Wotever welcomes them. This includes, but certainly is not exclusive to: drag kings, queers, women, mtf, femmes, trans, butches, queerbois, gays, drag queens, dykes, fags, bisexuals, ftm, men, straight … Wotever etc. All will respect all.
